Meditation: Exactly What Is It?

Many techniques are touted as Meditation, when actually they are something else. They may be helpful but are not Meditation. Scientific research has proven it is an incredible, unique and invaluable resource to have in your life.

Instruction will be provided in such a way that you can go home and start a meditation practice immediately. Simple, systematic, yet profound instruction in understanding the mind during the meditation process, meditative postures, breathing exercises, relaxation techniques, and the use of mantra will be provided. Learn to contribute to the uplifting of humanity, one mind at a time, beginning with yours.

Walking Meditation

Contemplative Walking is a way we can re-energize ourselves. Our energy gets so dissipated then we wonder why we feel drained or scattered. This class is for the urban athlete, someone who is willing to be healthy from within and is interested in exploring fulfilling ways of taking care of themselves. Where very comfortable shoes and/or bring socks to walk in.

Life is a gift: and how do we receive it? By knowing some “Keys” to unlocking it’s gifts. Learning and practicing deliberate thought processes can give you that “Key” Deliberately choosing thought processes, until they become habits, can lead to a profound shift in your happiness “Set Point”.

Destination Addiction

Just one more push and I will get this done: then I’ll be happy. But does that really work? Usually the next “thing” comes up and the cycle begins again. But someday I will be done, then I can enjoy my work, kids, spouse, life… The years run on and the “shoulds” pile up. I should do this, I should do that. Okay hold on, lets take a look at Destination Addiction, it’s component parts and the road that leads home….. to relief and peace.

Your Body Doesn’t Lie: AK, Reclaiming Vibrant Health

Using properly applied, specific muscle testing (Applied Kinesiology (AK)) your body becomes a real time laboratory. The Drs Dana and Greg will use volunteers from class to demonstrate how to get true, accurate messages from your own body. These messages will reveal where a dys-function lies and what type of treatment will correct it. AK is truly an amazing thing to experience. Although this takes years of training to learn, Sandhya will then teach you a simple technique, which you can use to help you decide what is best for you, as you navigate your own life. Getting the “Thought Monkey” Off Your Back

Learn a few easily applied processes you can use to cultivate a state called Pleasantness of Mind. It is possible that your mind becomes easier to live with, more joyful, optimistic, friendly etc. Many people experience times, when their mental field/mind could use a little lightening up “in there” And that can begin to happen with practice. We will learn and actually practice using, applying 2 – 3 of these Processes. You can begin to feel more comfortable in your mental “skin” with these new “tools”. Come with an easiness, a curiosity. Bring pad of paper and a pen.
